Beginning January 8th 2024 we will only have 9 holes open for play. If you book a tee time online and select the 18 hole option you will be playing the same 9 twice. Please call the golf shop for more information.
Big Changes Coming
Old Fort Golf Course will be undergoing a complete bunker and greens renovation project as we look to improve the golf course for years to come!
Beginning on January 8th, only 9 holes will be open for play while the bunker renovation takes place on the other 9 holes. Then we will swap the 9's so the bunker renovation can be completed on the remaining 9 holes. We anticipate the bunker renovation to take approximately 3 months.
Once the bunker renovation is complete, we will move forward with the greens renovation. At that time the golf course will be closed until the greens renovation is completed. We anticipate the golf course reopening in early Fall 2024.
During this time, the driving range, clubhouse and the Bloomfield Links 6 hole short course will remain open. Please contact the golf shop with any questions. Thank you for your patience during this time as we look forward to delivering you a better golf experience!
Established in 1985
Old Fort Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf facility owned and operated by the City of Murfreesboro. The par 72 layout is located along the banks of the Stones River and adjacent to Fortress Rosecrans, an historic earthen Fort from the Civil War. Old Fort plays a challenging 7,086 yards from the back tees, but with 6 sets of tees the golf course is fun and enjoyable for all. Regarded as one of the top public golf courses in the state, Old Fort has the privilege of hosting a number of championship events recently serving as a Qualifying site for the Korn Ferry Tour's Simmons Bank Open.
