Old Fort Golf Course will be cart path only for the next two weeks beginning on Friday, May 19th. During this time all carts, including special needs carts, will not be allowed off the cart path on any hole. We all want lush green fairways to hit from and this will allow our turf care team time to make improvements to those areas. For more information on why this is important see the recent letter from the UT Deparment of Plant and Soil Sciences.

Established in 1985
Old Fort Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf facility owned and operated by the City of Murfreesboro. The par 72 layout is located along the banks of the Stones River and adjacent to Fortress Rosecrans, an historic earthen Fort from the Civil War. Old Fort plays a challenging 7,086 yards from the back tees, but with 6 sets of tees the golf course is fun and enjoyable for all. Regarded as one of the top public golf courses in the state, Old Fort has the privilege of hosting a number of championship events recently serving as a Qualifying site for the Korn Ferry Tour's Simmons Bank Open.

A wonderful golf experience
Old Fort hosts a number of other championship events such as Collegiate Tournaments, USGA Boys and Girls Junior Amateur Qualifiers, Tennessee Golf Association, and Tennessee PGA Section tournaments. Come and enjoy a wonderful golf experience with beautiful antebellum landscapes located within the heart of Murfreesboro.
